Renovation/Pre-Construction Evaluations

A renovation or construction project creates major changes with the appearance, design, use, and size of a building.  More importantly, renovation of a structure dramatically changes the energy within the building and this can have a profound affect on the occupants.  A pre-construction Feng Shui analysis can help you make the most of the renovation project.  The report will provide analysis of the energies within the space and give recommendations on best use of existing areas and best placements of new additions based on the principles of traditional Feng Shui.

The initial visit includes will take approximately 1-3 hours and includes:

• Meeting with you discuss your renovation/construction plans.

• Observing the entire exterior and grounds surrounding the building in it's current configueration.

• Compass reading of the structure using the LoPan compass. 

• Observation and measurement of each room in the current structure. 

• Photographing both the interior and exterior.

The tools I will bring as part of the consultation are: 

• Chinese LoPan – The traditional Chinese compass used to take accurate directional measurement.
• Digital camera – I will be taking pictures to help in the full consultation.
• Measurement tools – I will need to take accurate measurements of each room.

You will need to provide:

• Birthdates of each occupant.
• Date of the building construction and dates of any previous renovations to the structure.
• A floor plan of the structure and blueprint of renovation plans, if possible.

The Follow Up Visit

I will compile a written report with detailed, room by room recommendations based on the construction plans discussed during initial visit.  The follow up visit will take approximately 1-2 hours.  I will review and clarify the report and discuss recommended changes and remedies based on the principles of traditional Feng Shui to create the best environment possible.
